tires and rims

Where do you guys like to buy tires and rims for 4 wheelers???

longsidelandry 12-01-2009 12:03 PM

When I had my bike I would buy everything and get everything done at Hormell's Extreme ATV in Broussard.

Tires Question, Opinions Wanted Please

I was looking at those swamp lites, anybody had any experiance with em.
I had the vampires before, but they were a little to much tire IMO for rice fields and a little mudding.

Whats a good all around tire for hunting? Not trying to win Mud Nationals just want something that will pull through the mud, but still comfortable to drive.

Man , I have Swamp lites on my Golf-Cart and it has a smooth ride on the road and pulls like crazy .. Everyone I know has swamplites and loves them...

SULPHITE 12-01-2009 09:42 PM

Bulleye 12-01-2009 09:51 PM

Depends on what your looking for in a tire. If you want a tire to mud ride in Swamp Lite is not the tire for you. They cake up really easy. Imo the best all around tire on the market is the itp 589's. I had a set of them and sold them for the mud zilla now that we don't ride as much i regret selling them

i work for a surveying company and we have a good 20 bikes and the most of them have swamp lites on them and i don't see anyone complaining about them and we put them to the test trust me lol

swamp lites are an alright tire just side walls are not hard and tend to puntcure easy when they do they go straight to rim have had many rides where someones day was cut short due to this. I like the mud lite XTR's or high liter mst's. I have put the xtr's thru anything I have ran my silverbacks thru with no complants and the ride is awesome. it is a radial also so they last forever. just my 2cents.
