Dang it! You must have run back in the dark with that sun setting. I always enjoyed watching that sunset on a Sunday afternoon. Bet you had the whole place to yourselves. Nice report, thanks.

Nicely done. During the day, we did about the same on the trout. There were as many small white trout as we wanted at Caldwell, but we only brought home six specks and 17 white trout (we only kept the 10+ inchers).

Good work on the red. Do you catch those actually on the inside of the pass? I keep hearing about people catching reds out there. I fish Caldwell, T Butte, Pavy, etc., sometimes live bait and sometimes artificial, and pull in trout but never reds.

Reds are all over those reefs at times, but if you go just inside the bay either side of SW pass and bang the bank with shrimp under cork you'll catch reds.

Good to know. We'll give it a try. We do well with the specks and white trout, but I guess I'm redfish deficient.
