Day two with Patrick Spell and crew from Shreveport. We decided to target trout this morning, and it was the right call!! We found the trout stacked thick and they were hungry. It was two at a time every cast on the Matrix Shad and Vortex shad rigged on the Golden eye jig heads. As fast as the baits hit the water it was "Fish On". With 60 fish on ice by 8:30 the guys wanted to go and catch reds!!! We left the trout biting, and headed for reds. We hit four holes finding six reds and a few big nasty drum. Switched gears back to trout picking away to 70 then called it a day. Good times by all and it's great to finally get back on the trout. Thanks guys for two great days.
