Full moon fishing

I know that the trout are heavily affected by the full moon during the spawn. But how are they affected during the fall ? ( Oct) Should the bite be better am ,pm or mid day? or night time under the lights?
will be fishing one - three days after full moon.

you get the biggest tides at new or full moons so that's what makes the fishing better.

I do notice a clear night with a full moon the fish feed all night long because they can see well enough to feed so having some cloud cover at night improves the morning bite

Full moon fishing

I've found the full moon to be the best thing to blame an empty box on. And the best thing to blame a full box on.

I love night fishing and have done well catching during primary feeding times based on solunar tables. Myself and others I know have seen a bite turn on and off like a switch within 30 mins of each end of that period.

I'm just a guy though, those that make a living putting people on fish have been known to hate full moon week. I firmly believe that if you stay on a spot for 12 hours that you have caught on in any given season, you will see a bite turn on and off..... I also believe we never landed on the moon

Find when the moon is highest in the sky. 12 hours after that is normally good. If the moon is highest at 1:00am fish 1:00pm next day.
