Changing Go Devil shaft

Has anyone ever attempted to replace the shaft and upper/lower seals on a go devil long tail?

Yes..... Nothing to it.

You just have to know the size or mic your bore because the seals run over size in .010 specs.

It's not hard to do at all. Its a garage project.

The new seal/bearings just screw on the housing.

Only issue you may have is having to "ream" the new bushing if there is a lot of drag.

But you can use a 3/4 drill bit and get the same results unless you are running a 35hp then I think the shaft diameter steps up to 1 inch.

Hardest part of the work probably is getting the prop off. It can be very tough if you have not taken it off in a while.

I'm recovering from having a brain surgery..... Still under docs orders and can't drive but I can offer assistance over the phone.

That's all I can offer. Sorry...
