Bull redfish

Not a way to start a report like this but that is what happened. I ran a trip for Super Strike Charters and at our first stop the line tightened on a nice trout. I was hoping some more would find our bait but no more takers. Before we left that area we did find our targeted species.

These hogs were very cooperative at this place but the bite tapered off after about 2 hours.

When I went to another place the pick was also slow but we had some tackle destroying hogs that we were lucky to land.

These baits are designed for fresh water fish like bass but when they work on other fish we make it happen. I have to close up the snaps with pliers and have not lost one yet but I am sure it will happen.

This was part of the demolition crew.

We did well that day and I lost count but it had to be in the high teens or better.

Another respectful day on the water with some very good action and fish.

Life is Good!
Fishing is not a matter of life or death. It's more important than that.
