Mike Stutes joined me with his wife Brandy and her mom Sandra. Definitely not your ideal conditions but with the Bluewave ready to roll we took off into the windy waters. We stayed as protected as possible and moved around a bit before we found what we wanted. We found a protected bank and surprisingly the bass were stacked up. As the bass bite faded we turned our attention back to the trout. They decided they wanted to cooperate but not without figuring out their finicky bite. Matrix Shad in Green Hornet and Lemonhead fished real slow and with a twitch coming off a ledge was the trick. Thanks Capt. Marty for setting up the trip.
