Lisa Wascom and Dan Danford joined me today. Our first stop found shrimp being chased out of the water. Double rigged Purple Haze and Green Hornet Matrix Shad slowly retrieved did the trick. Lisa even hooked a 25 pound bull red, which the Shimano Sahara had no problem reeling in. When the bite played out, we switched to single rigged Lemon Head and Green Hornet Matrix Shad on 1/4 Golden Eye jig heads. We easily caught our limit of 30 bass and played catch and release. After our limit of bass we went back to focusing on specks again. Super slow retrieve was key and it was wait on the bite!! Really nice specks again today up to two pounds. My crew had a blast filling up the 120qt K2, and can't wait to come back! Thanks guys for another fabulous day in paradise.
