I've done my share of Refuge and WMA hunting and no longer have the patience for people coming in just before LST and/or setting up within 100yds

Youth hunted today in Sabine and was kinda discouraging. Hopefully things will change next week. Don't know where all the wigeon grass went

Went brush blind in cypress point unreal numbers of pintail and greys and few hundred mallards as well. Also had flights of specks the whole time I was out there. Its looking good for the opener. Went to my speck blind in Klondike Saw a few birds there also. Now just have to figure out how to hide it farmer pulled all new levees. So the whole 200 acres is nothing but dirt. Anyone have any suggestions on how to cover blind without sticking out like a sore thumb.

You could cover most with burlap and just put some grass around to break it up
