The Bluewave was back on the water today. Mike Pennington was back on board with his wife Andre. We left out of the Reel Inn into a foggy, dreary, bayou. We only had to make one stop today and the fish cooperated just how we like it. We fished a point using the Shrimp Creole Matrix on a 1/4oz Goldeneye jig head under a cork. We had a lot of quality trout mixed in with the white trout. The guys filled the K2 with their specks and they decided to keep 30 white trout to fry up and give some to a friend. If you plan on going out this weekend dress warm and be careful since the water levels will be low due to all the hard north winds we will be having.
