We had another pretty good hunt this morning at my lease South of Kaplan.....

6 teal, 3 mallards, 1 grey, and 8 spoons....:)

Shoot'em back this way!!!

Not fair!

That's just salt in the wound for me. This is my second season south of Kaplan and we have been struggling since Teal season.
I think we've killed a total of 20 birds this season.

The South Kaplan area can be very hit or miss. I have been hunting this area since I moved back from Houston in 2002. We used to hunt about 1/2 mile from my present lease and it was not near as good and got worse every year. I am lucky that for the most part if there are ducks in the area my blind is usually killing. BTW, we saw a lot this morning again but they did not want to work and we only ended up with 7. I hope the season gets better for you.....good luck.

Thanks for the input. Its only my second year in this lease. I'm not wanting to bail just yet. Tons of flight this am but all very high.
