Breaking in my newly built fire pit
I couldn't decide where to post this, but one things for sure its general BS.:) I spent the day putting our gardens to bed (pun intended) for the winter. Das the gardening part, whacked up a truck load of my favorite kind of camp fire wood...FREE:D After all that I fired up my fire pit built from country boy parts and kicked back to enjoy the spoils of my labor. In fine CAjun fashoned, (the cooking part):brew::cheers:

Thanks man after all the work getting it ready as shown on the blog I figured might as well sit back and enjoy it. The grill and porkchops were an alkyhol induced last minute thing. If ya gonna try out a new fire pit might as well go the whole hog so to speak.

Yeah I did kinda the same thing about a week ago. Decided to do a couple of rib eyes for me and the wife. So I threw a few bricks together that would fit a small grill I had laying around. Nothing like rib eyes done over wood. Sometimes, it's the simple things that are best. And yeah, I like a tab of butter on mine. :)
