http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/g...ps1ginkrhb.jpg http://i245.photobucket.com/albums/g...psojmipriw.jpg Day 2 helping out Capt T Miller. We found no bite at our first two stops except for about 10,000 gnats. Thank goodness for Swamp-Swatter onboard the big Bluewave. Our third spot looked to be the charm but the bite ended up shutting down. Two more moves and it looked like it was going to be on again. Trout coming in one after another, then the switch turned off. We moved around the rest of the day picking away at the fish. Slow tough day for us, never finding a good bite. We worked over reefs with 3 ft of water throwing Matrix Shad tight lined and under a cork. Under a cork work best except on one of the reefs with a strong current (the fish wanted the bait drifting in the current). With water temps in the 70's the trout have scattered about. Hopefully the cool weather coming will bunch them back up. Thanks Capt Miller for setting up the trip. Capt. Marty LaCoste 985-856-4477 www.absolutefishingcharters.com |
