Solid first split...
 

Has been a solid first split for my old blind near the beach, I had almost given up on after the last few years.... Bringing a new dog up to speed this season after 10 yrs with my chocolate female....

Joey is my buddies uncle. We hunted right next to his blind a couple years ago

I have the ponds on the other side of the road man that placed used to be awesome for years and just fell off all of a sudden about 8 or so years ago. I gave up after a few years. Wish that place would come back to what it was years ago.

Yes hunt the Rutherford-Nunez estate.... Lease from Joey White.... Have had my blind there for twenty-one years. And yes my blind before the Hurricanes was just short of spectacular for years. Since Rita, Ike, & Gustav it has changed a lot. This year is some what of a throwback to years ago lots of greys & teals with a smattering mallards & pintails mixed in... Even a few big bull cans too boot. Just hope it stays that way for the rest of the year. Think we are gonna try and maintain water level going forward a little better for our needs hoping it helps for the future....
