The kitchen on prewitt st. is a regular spot on my list. Mama Rita's on broad st. is also good. I have only been there a couple of times, but it was good. Leonard's food quarter on hwy 14 is good too. Hackets is very good too.

Cormie's usually has good stuff if you're on that end. Corner of Country Club and Big Lake Rd.

I think you mean Mr Bill's Seafood. Steamboat Bills is on Martin Luther and Lakeshore Drive.

Richards in Sulphur has good size servings for the plate lunches. Something different every day.

I think it's hard to tell someone from the Lafayette area where good plate lunch plate is because yall got that market hemmed up. But we got a couple good ones.

Cajun Cafe is pretty good, they have some very good cabbage. Y'all remember when the "small plate" was big enough for two meals? The old run down blue restaurant right next to the tracks was the bomb. They had a woman who would wait all the tables in the restaurant with a 1yr old on her hip and never skip a beat.

Nina P's on a Friday is the best. Shrimp Creole and fried catfish. It's not open, but they
are rebuilding. I'd give anything to get their fried fish recipe. Anybody got a clue
what they batter their fish In?
