Me and the GF are up in IL and MO Til after the new year. GF's dad took me out to lake shelbyville today for some white perch fishing. Knew it wasn't gonna be a good day 28* with a SE wind at 20mph. Water temp was 32.9* all day. 2nd pic is ice on the water. Left the house at 9:45. Got license and was on water by 10:00. Pulled up to first spot and managed 2 keepers. Went to honey hole and caught over 130 crappie in 4 hrs. One every cast. Only allowed 5 under 10" and 10 over 10" on the lake. Ended the day with 17 mixed overs and unders. Nice crappies ! You should really think about cooking those prior to consumption :D
