Limits both days this weekend. Lots of pintail showed up this weekend. Sunday was a hunt for the books shooting my 2nd and 3rd mallard out of my blind in the last 5 years.

Great hunt.

Saturday we just watched birds come in for 30 minutes. Cans and pintail by the thousands. Hard to get a limit because of them.

Sunday was slower. Managed a limit of cans, greenwing (very unusual for us) grays and pintails with 3 bonus speckle bellies.

Weird. We are a mile apart and have so different birds.

Yeah, few canvasbacks at my blind but plenty just 500yds North of me. Very weird the difference in birds. I think we shot at the same flock of greenwings 3 x's Sunday. We totaled 8 gw teal, 2 mallards, 4 pintail, 1 grey, 2 spoonies and 1 canvasback.
