ICY Boat Launch Closing Next Week for 2 weeks
 

That picture looks odd, did they widen the lanuch area? It looks wider..

That's the back half of the dock, not the actual bifurcated launch.

Did anybody else have to look up bifurcated or is it just me.

That is a big word for a Monday. I think the dredging needs to be done. I've kicked up mud several times in the slip during low tide. Also there's a flat right outside of the slip (behind the oak tree in the pic)....I've turned too sharp and had to work my way out once.

It does need to be dug out i have seen some big boats have trouble on low tides.

Anybody know if the launch has opened back up yet? Or is it still closed?

I believe the sign said it would be closed for 2-3 weeks.

Article says from January 26 to February 8th.

Anybody been near the launch? I've heard that it will be opening again this week (a few days early). I'm going to go out on Sunday, and I'm looking to see if it has opened up again.

I talked to the girl at Maxie P's on the phone today and she said it was still closed.
