Went back to try the lease again today...had white caps on the pond. Shot 5 again, I have a 5 duck curse this year, never a hunt where we killed more than 5. This is horrible. Today we used my uncles "jam up dog" and I wish I would have taken mine. The dog was smarter than me today, he got one duck I got 4. He wouldn't do anything but bark while we were calling ducks. I thought about adding a dead lab to the kill list.

Must be the majic # in J.B. We brought 5 mallards home Sun. also. One summer mallard and 4 SMILING mallards. Missed a couple of good oppurtunities on some snows.

we saw tons of geese saturday (nothing low however) but sunday I didn't see but one flock of geese
