I had a similar boat, it was a "Bayou Special" that came from a dealer in Bogalousa ... They used to advertise heavily in LAS back 15 yrs ago .

Thru the years I have seen the same hull under different names all sporting similar layouts, it must have been a popular mold ... I sold mine 12 years ago to a guy that still fishes out of it .

I had a 25 Mariner on it and fished the marshes south of Houma for years, no problems . This is pre-GPS so I don't have any good performance numbers to share . Kept it clean and beneath a carport until it was sold ...

Use a quarter and tap the floor, decks, and transom out real well, these are older construction methods and full of wood . Try to locate a date of manufacture in the paperwork, that will tell the tale .

Its a decent hull for what it is...pretty simple design. These hulls would be very simple to rebuild. I was going to purchase a mold for this hull not too long ago but it was sold before I could make arrangements. Like I said its simple and effective design for a marsh boat or river boat

looks ike a decent rig but just keep in mind that the trailer it is using is not big enough for that boat, so you should plan on getting a bigger one for 14-16ft boats so that it supports the boat better.

that trailer looks like its for a jet ski or 12ft flatboat, you need more support back there for the motor and transom
