Choupique Bayou/Intracoastal
Co-worker and I are thinking about trying around Choupique Bayou Saturday. What is the best tidal situation for that area ? Falling ? Rising ?
Thanks in Advance, |
This time of year I don't think it really matters since there's not much bait around. If it were fall and the shrimp are moving out I'd say a outgoing tide. Earlier in the year when shrimp are moving in then id say a rising tide.

you must not be from around here. you mentioned "Choupique" and "tidal" in the same sentence.
That's the other side of the levee. #burnhandlefail |

where is that anyway? |
It's starts just North and West of Sulphur and winds it's way South and East until it dumps into intracoastal canal just East of Ellenders bridge which is just North of Hackberry

I think my buddy wants to go further south now but I'm not looking forward to riding in a little aluminum boat for that long.....may just play in the mud puddles for bass instead lol |
I understand about not wanting to ride in a bumpy aluminum boat. I just sold mine a few months ago and got a new Blue Wave. Now if the weather would only clear up so I could actually use the darn thing!
