Good TIMES!!

Nothing like zipping to you favorite spot, with your family on board, and you feel you engine bog down so much it kills it and your boat come to an abrupt STOP!!

Only to see this when you pull up the motor

Damn derelict cab trap line. LOCKED up my prop, so I spent the better part of over an hour bent over the back of the boat trying to cut this free

http://i23.photobucket.com/albums/b3...8/CAM01625.jpg

got it all pulled off and threw in the big storage box, be my luck Id hit it coming back.

Ya know this reminds me of the CCA. A few months a go I was emailed about doing a crab trap clean up in Sabine, so I asked when was the last time BL was cleaned up or when the next BL clean up was scheduled cause Id sure be in on it ..... the answer was, never has been and not scheduled to be........nice. Not bashing the CCA, but it sure hits close to home ya know

What a cluster!!!

I don't know what would be worse. Wrapping a a crab trap in your prop and not having a good pair of snips on board or getting that rats nest of rope in the prop.

Have a beer bro you deserve it.

You catch?

Got one with the family on board in Grand Isle last year. It wasn't near that bad but, still frustrating!

Mr T 03-17-2015 04:47 PM

Obama and CCA have nothing to do with this. BL angers need to organize a clean up!
Don't wait for someone else to do clean up your fishing spots and don't blame them when it doesn't happen! Get with local LDWF and organize it! that's how it happens to the east!
