Gnat repellent Amber Romance still the key?
 

This past weekend was the worst I've seen in a long time for those little biting gnats. Off didn't seem to help much.

Is amber romance still the ticket or is there anything else that has come along as better?

I was in point a chene last week and it was worse than I ever saw....Rubbed down with amber romance for the first time and about 15-20 minutes later gave it another shot and it made a believer out of me...They still flew around but whatever landed died on the spot....Never saw them so bad...

Anyone try out this avon expedition stuff?

have you tried the vanilla air freshener? I get the 8oz spray bottle from advance auto for like $5 and it seams to work great on the gnats but I never compared it to AR stuff, just a little pricey for me.

also heard old spice works well too but I never tried it yet

Amber Romance is the stuff, but you need some glitter around your face and on your clothes and rub some gaff top slime on you and hang a cigarette from your mouth, you then you will be all set!!!

It works, and I send the wife to VS in the mall, it is very cheap stuff.

speaking of gnats, when does gnat season end? I thought in spring the dragon flies or horse flies pretty much ate em all or something but when are they usually not around to pester you anymore?

AR fragrance mist or body lotion?

I find the lotion lasts longer

Repel 100 is pretty awesome and I don't have to go to the mall to get it. The key to keeping the cats off is a Deet, the higher the percentage the better. Repel 100 is you guessed it, 100% Deet.
