Mermentau jetties
 

Does any one on here ever fish for reds & trout around the Mermentau jetties/lower mud lake area? Just wondering if it would be worth making a trip down there.

Yea but your not going to catch them anytime soon , the catfish locks have been wide open for a month now draining all the freshwater down

You almost have to be in a semi drought to do any good down there

Its real fresh right now was catching blue cat under mermentau bridge last week. Caught one red at the jetties
