I brown my sausage and then take that out and brown my duck meat. I cut my duck meat up into small 1/2-3/4 inch pieces. Then take that out and add my onions and bell pepper and some diced garlic and brown that down. Then when that's done I add all the meat back to the pot and add 1.5 qts of liquid per pound of noodles. I like to use chicken stock. Really helps with flavor. Season that water to taste and then bring it to a boil. When boiling add your pasta and just continue to stir and simmer until all liquid is cooked out. Then eat that delicious food. Can't beat it man. It's awesome!!!

Forgot I also add some kitchen bouquet browning seasoning just for color. I add it before I add the noodles to make my liquid dark dark which will help make your pasta a little darker. I hate the white look you get sometimes.
