I would love to have one, I can't imagine what the price tag on that would be though. Some more features for the money would be nice but I'm sure hauling *** between wading spots would be a nice trade off

New breed! SBC boat
Must be a tunnel hull. Lots of motor for those speeds. Looks fast and SCB usually is. Is it a prototype one of a kind?

O LAWD!

Engine weight is the same as the Verado 300. The 400R will be offered in 20-, 25- and 30-inch shaft lengths with either the Verado 5.44-inch gearcase or the Sport Master, with or without cambered skeg, in right and left rotations. For single-engine applications a non-Joy Stick cambered Sport Master is available in 20- and 25-inch length and right-hand rotation only. MSRP for the Verado 400R ranges from *****$31,530 to $36,120***** with a two-year warranty (compared to three years for the Verado 300). The 400R is available in Phantom Black and Cold Fusion White with blue Merc Racing graphics. Blue accent stripes will be shipped with the motor but not applied, and six alternate-color accent stripes will be sold separately.

There's a boat like that on the market already. Its called a Majek.
|
If that is indeed an SCB modified Islamorada hull (looks extremely similar to the Morada 22 hull but I'm not making accusations, I'm only speculating) it should ride extremely well in the sloppy stuff due to its weight, and still retain the speed SCB is known for. Might end up being the proper SCB for the bay fisherman if it handles a chop well and has rod holders on the console.. Sure is purdy!

Jesus, didn't realize anyone made a 400hp

JL8 there are also haynies out there with the same layout...Can't expect a bay boat to be a one off design at this point they are all shooting for the same goals for the most part.
