Grosse Savanne bass trip

Made an afternoon trip down to Grosse Savanne lodge for a fun bass trip in their nearly 600 acre private lake. We managed to boat 40-50 bass from 1.5 - 3 lbs with about a 2 lb average. All caught on spinner baits or speed crawls.

This was very relaxing trip and I highs recommend it to anyone. The guide was very accommodating and really worked hard to put us in the fish.

Had my #1 fishing/hunting partner, Dr. W.L. Ryder in the boat with me. At 88 years young he totally out fished both the guide and I.

I went ther Sunday night and Monday morning. We should have went bass fishing but my buddy wanted to take some fish home. Didn't do too well in the marsh. The lodge is awesome. Would go again in a heart beat if I could scrape up the change myself.
