camp owners????
 

I'm looking at a camp in cocodrie on leased land. What are the pro's and con's of owning a camp??

pros it doesn't cost you $100 a night for a place to stay when ya fish. Cons it does cost you at least one day every trip for maintenance and yard work.

X2....... Also at the end of the day a nice shower and cold A/C..... Instead of a 2-3 hour trip home before freshing up......

Its like winning the lotto. More people want to be your friends, estranged family members start calling to use it. Speaking of, have we met?

If done right it creates a special place where family can gather and spend time together like it used to be. Thats what I'm aiming to do when i build my camp this summer. My grandpa had a floating camp that he would move around and the family would gather and boil seafood, fish, hunt, and spend quality time together. I think this is one of the things that makes this area so special is camp life.

I just spewed coffee at my desk! It's like having a boat, but even better...
