the GPS got me home tonight

I never new how important a GPS was until today. We were fishing at the locks in Grand Lake. Everything fine until my son looks up out the locks and sees the fog rolling in. So we took off to head back to Gary's landing. I figured I could just keep the shoreline to my left and I'd be ok. A little while out there and the fog got so thick I couldn't stay close enough to the shoreline to see it. Before I new it I was completely turned around. The only reason we made it home tonight was following the track I made on the way out there with my little GPS. And I almost didn't set it because I know the way there and back like the back of my hand. Thank God I did!! I don't know if my wife will ever come fishing with me again out there. lol She navigated while I made sure we didn't hit anything. Seeing that boat launch never felt so good.

Follow the poopy trail. Just watch out for crab trap floats.

I've had that happen to me before. Fun Fun Fun! I love my GPS. I also love night fishing and it comes in handy.

It never let up on Big Lake. Soupy almost all day.

Where did you start out fishing today?
I wanted to hit West Cove this morning, until I saw the fog on the water.
When I left home, it wasn't that bad, but the closer I got to LNG, the thicker
the fog was. I couldn't go from Cal. Point to West Cove in that stuff.
