How high to mount your engine?

I have a manual jack plate, and it is a real pain to move. I can not use a HYD unit for the Tallons mount to the jack plate, basically disabling any "on the fly" hyd adjustments.

So I need to set my jack plate and forget about it, but I need to know where?

When Im running up on plane where should my water level be?

Also you need to see where your trim will be set when you are running. You might be in the wrong bolt holes on your motor.
