Father's Day Spinning rod.
 

Couple months back my buddy got me into rod building...Bastage!!! Now I'm hooked. This is my second build and will be for my father-in-law. Since I'm an aviation buff i'm naming her the Lightning II.

Blank - 7' Batson Immortal IMMP70M Mod-F
Grip - Tour star 9.5" blue on gunmetal
Seat - AT aero 16mm
Guides - Microwave
Thread - Pacbay, Gunmetal A, royal blue metallic A, black A

Spiral was an 8 strand underwrap of C thread with straight blue metallic A overwrap. I didn't care for the blue black combo on the overwrap.

Main guide had the 6 blue wraps. All other guides had just the 3 blue at the beginning. Also put on the red and green trim wrap at 12 and 16" for trout and reds.

Overall weight - 137 grams

I wouldn't mind building another one if someone wants to buy one. This one is blue because of the grip and the blue and grey quantum reel that is going on it. Hit me up with a pm and we can chat i guess.
