Alpha I am going to hijack your thread.
I'm planning on heading out of intracoastal city for the first time this weekend to try out the west side of the bay. Figured with the west winds the water will atleast be cleaner on that side. My whole life I have always fishing out of the Point I have no knowledge of that side.

does anyone fish the artificial reefs LDWF put around redfish point? Is this something even worth trying before heading out the pass?

You might be able to catch some. With the salinity this high. It should be easy finding fish. Red fish point the cove going to hog bayou. The wiers

Good luck guys, water wasn't good today, bay had 3' chop. Managed a limit of reds in weeks Bay Area. Didn't make it to the pass though, might be cleaner on that end

I talked to a guy who kept 90 specks out the bay last weekend and he is a straight shooter! I don't know where he caught em but he leaves out of Icy!
