Went this am. Limit of crabs bu 10am. Grand bayou, pointe a chie area. Caught on turkey necks.

Looked it up after I saw this. 12 doz per person. That daily and possession.

Nope def says per person. Now maybe refuge or whatever is different. But standard state law is per person.

unless you supplying a family reunion, who needs more then 12 dozen anyway? a bushel is what? 7 dozen if #3's and maybe 5 dozen if #1's
12 dozen is about 2 bushels of crabs on average

Different places have different limits.
Open Public [NOT a state or Fed Refuge] the limit is 12 doz. per person.
Some Refuges and WMA's the limit is 12 doz. per boat or vehicle.
Some Refuges [Sabine and East Cove] the limit is 5 dozen per boat or Vehicle.
