Saints first preseason

Any one else all fired up? I got a 10 pc bucket for chicken dark meat on sale and a 12 pack iced down and looking forwards to seeing if we got any rookie talent. gonna be watching for Willie Snead and that Breaux boy and a few others. WHO DAT!!!!!

lil bubba 08-13-2015 07:11 PM

Well at least you got your chicken on sale.....ha ha ha ha ha.....

Best thing to do with a preseason ticket is give it to someone you really don't care for. Second best: a lit match.

Well how did it go? Didn't get to watch because I was busy with another thing. Guess I need to watch football this year.

same old same old, sad offensive effort

defense cant stop the run or tackle anyone even against a vanilla preseason offense and it allows big gains on 3rd and long every time and the icing on the cake, they had the (meaningless) game won only to allow them to get 23 yards on 4th and 20 with game on the line and they march down and score to beat us because the defense plays to tackle after the catch rather then not allow the catch.

we will never have a good defense with a ryan defense that is designed to leave guys wide open and let teams run over them because his "plan" is to only slow other teams down a little and just hope they somehow stop themselves which is why he is no longer in dallas.

all we can hope for is to score 40 points a game in order to win

about like the first preseason game usually goes lol. On the bright side I was really impressesd by the way Griffin and Grayson looked

just stop bruh... I was impressed by both the young qbs, the reciver corp looked pretty deep. Willie Snead especially stood out to me as a no name guy making a couple of tough catches. It was the first preseason game... calm down

I thought griffin won the second spot last year but they kept him as third for some strange reason that had nothing to do with skill level that's for sure

grayson looked damn good for his first game and I really think he might be something as a prospect to replace drew. cry if you want but drew only has a year or two left in him as a good elite quarter back at his age even though he can be "average" and not go to the playoffs for as many years as they want to let him stay and be mediocre

Yep it only a preseason and whether they win or lose it'll be a different lineup come the first opener...Time will tell....And Cappy I was just fun'n about the chicken comment...I do wish them well....

Cappy 08-14-2015 10:23 AM

Well I figure they drafted a young QB to see who goes so far it looks like Mccown is the one in trouble. Of course lots of his trouble can be blamed on poor play by the O line especially zack strief. So he is in trouble too. A bright note on the O line was rookie A
Peat he had some very good key blocks the second half. I think both young kickers looked really good thats gonna be a tough battle and fun to watch them compete. It's fun to watch the young guys fight it out. They hired the defensive coach as Ryans assistance but he is qualified to be his replacement and with the horrible penalty, ridden play of the first team in the first half Ryan may not make it through the pre season if things dont change fast. The 2's and 3's looked way better in the second half than the first team early on. It is fun to watch and see what happens. There were a couple very good things and alot tht needs correcting.

Started out bad but ended pretty good, I was impressed with Griffen.
