Generator portion of a wind turbine.

And yes, they are huge

Thats a really big trailer, It says so right on the back. They use it to haul things

Dude I am so glad you asked this. I just saw one yesterday and was wishing I knew what they were because I see them hauling them all the time

Paul is correct, the electrical generator portion of a wind turbine. Blades probably weren't far behind.

alphaman 08-28-2015 12:42 PM

Wind turbines for Ducks Unlimited. Their goal is to shortstop ducks from coming to Louisiana. They are seeing that the heated ponds, dumping corn, and the nets are not keeping all the ducks out of Louisiana, so they are placing these up there to chop them up if they do decide to migrate on down

Bath tub for "yo mama"

Don't see why no one has come up with this one yet.

Man the blades are HUGE! Saw some in Houston one time. It is amazing how big they are.

At one time I heard they were wanting to put some of these turbines around Cote Blanche Island. Just a myth?
