Should be banned for life

Brutal assault on referee was the kind of attack that could have done permanent damage. Lifetime ban AND $20K fine each. But watch how it's going to turn out. My guess...a slap on the hand.

The two players should be fined, ejected for life & spend time in jail. Do not know the quality of the ref's, but players have to live with authority and the ref's are the authority of that football game.

BGcoreg 09-07-2015 07:50 PM

But but but.. The ref called them a n*****
I bet that's what comes out next

duckman1911 09-07-2015 07:51 PM

I saw that this morning. If football is that important to you then you must have a sad life. It's a game. If you feel the need to hurt someone over a game your life is going to suck. Life is going to hurt you worse.
P.S. Don't drop your soap.

Country Boy 09-07-2015 10:11 PM

Lmao!! Just seen on the news they interviewed a parent and said it may have been a accident , was clearly not a accident!! They also said they could be facing felony charges cause used helmet as a weapon.

I am pretty sure that this was a high school game so the athletes are likely underage.

swamp snorkler 09-08-2015 06:07 AM

One is a Sr. and one is a Sophmore..... so 17-18 and 15-16 or so. The coach should be fired too, I'm sure he's the one who put the hit the out but thats just speculation on my part.

Reggoh 09-08-2015 07:07 AM

I remember the Delmon Young incident a few years ago... he slung his bat and smoked the home plate umpire in a minor league game. I thought he should have been banned for life... I think he got 50 games but he got to continue his career and made pretty good money in the majors.

B-Stealth 09-08-2015 07:36 AM

Wow; if someone pulled a stunt like that at SHS they better run off the field because Coach Viator, or Hebert would have made you wish you were dead. Yep prison bound one way or another for sure.

Ed32 09-08-2015 08:05 AM

get rid of these two punk *** *****es for life. If they'll do this to a ref what are they going to do to the opposing players?

mr crab 09-08-2015 10:22 AM

Cheap shot for sure.

Cappy 09-08-2015 10:29 AM

Is it just me or did the ref look like a woman. After watching the slow motion close up of a long flying pony tail and wide hips I was wondering if yall noticed or if tis so. If it is in my world that makes this senceless act all the worse.
