Well, I haven't been down there in quite a while and I don't recall having to pay a dollar to cross the river? Am I out of touch with reality or am I forgetting something.

On that note, as I was sitting on the ferry waiting to come back across, I saw 15 people casting in a 10 yard square and pulling out flounder one after one. It was comical until they hit the 10th flounder in a matter of 6 minutes!!!!

Westbound has always been a dollar but eastbound was free

Actually they have not always charged to cross. They began charging during the early 90'sh
