This is a report from wednesday at the causeway and some tips and advise to fishing the bridge.

I was on the lake Wednesday crabbing, its a good thing they caught fish early because by 10am the white caps started to roll.

We were on the lake after 10 it was glass all day.

Tried the causeway today... the weather could not have been better, the water was however not right, it was dirty. Not one hit did I get over a two hour period. I fished the 12 mile mark, and then decided to hit the fish balls 3 miles East of there. First cast, 27" redfish... after that nothing.
Ended the day at Sea brook and tagged and release two 10" trout. Never seen such a perfect day and not produce fish. |
They are there. My buddy did pretty well yesterday but it does take a lot of patience. Its not uncommon to go 2 hours without a hit.
