Pretty bold statement!!!!!

I can't wait until they go 100% automated ordering so I don't have to deal with the incompetent b!+€h with an attitude who can't spell burger, much less make one and doesn't comprehend "no onions". Most of them aren't worth what they are being paid now.

I don't know who in their right mind would actually approve a minimum wage of $15 dollars per hour. Best case if that were to happen you would have fewer people who making more money but more people unemployed. These businesses are going to fire employees left and right and the lucky ones who still have a job will make more however. Then we will have more people living off the government creating an even larger burden on the system. The solution for the lower wage earners is vocational or higher education. They have to help themselves to some degree.

They won't have to fire them. When they find out they make too much $$$ to qualify for their hand outs they'll either want hours reduced or drag up.

that is good stuff, maybe he can blame it on auto correct like people that use terms like

In addition to this, the price of everything else will just reflectively go up and then they are broke again

Liberals want so badly for this to work. It makes the feel better about themselves. Unfortunately for them reality is different than fantasy. Sure if the world was all rainbows, butterflies and bunnies it would probably work. It's not. The young and the elderly will hurt the most from this.
1. A business (especially a small one) is not going to hire and train an unskilled 18 year old at $15 an hour. Therefore he is unemployed instead of having a job at a lower wage and learning a trade he can advance in and make better $.
2. That elderly guy at Mc Donalds that is working part time to fill the gap that social security left well he's gone. They aren't going to pay 70 year old Bob $15 to walk around with a dust pan and broom.
A lot of the problem is people want to be the boss on the day they are hired or at least get the bosses pay. As Matt stated atoumatic checkouts will be everywhere and people will be let go.

You want better pay? Change your career. I imagine the majority of fast food employees are of a minority race. This is America, there are hundreds if not thousands of FREE opportunities for minority races to get a higher education and vocational training.

^^100% true.

Does minimum wage need to be slightly increased? I believe so. But damn sure not doubled overnight. People tend to forget that minimum wage was not intended for people to live off of long term. If you have been paid minimum wage for several years without a raise, then it's time to reevaluate your skill set or your place of employment.

I ran across this gem today. It falls in line with this discussion. Definitely worth the 10 minutes to see how people actually think they are entitled to anything their hearts desire. Regardless of who has to pay for it.

Watched this earlier today and it pretty much sums it up. They want as long as it's taken from someone else. That will change when it starts being taken from them to give to others that want.
