Pre Front Trout Bite

Taylor Hargrave and crew were back onboard with me today. We started out fishing over a reef in 2 ft of water with a slow falling tide. Single rigged Tiger Matrix slowly retrieved and C-Sea Shad 18 inches under a cork went to work. The trout were hungry and everyone was slinging them in the Bluewave. Once the bite slowed we moved into a narrow bayou drifting in 3-5 ft depths and slowly picked away at the trout. Another move over a reef had us back on the trout. It wasn't a fast paced bite, as the trout were spread out. Patience and persistence paid off on a nice mess of fish before we got ran off by a big storm. We actually had to leave the fish biting. It was a good call as the sky fell once we made it back to the dock. Thanks for another great guys, really enjoyed fishing with you again.
