Went to Henderson this afternoon to run the boat. Launched at Kern's so we tried some of the trees along the Boulevard. Dirty water and nothing there so we worked our way through the trees to Toy-Toy. Few bites but nothing to speak of so we went on the Dog Leg. Water is still over the mounds. We fished the edges and the mounds. Once again, a few nibbles but no keepers. Headed to I-10 and the pilings. Caught a couple of little ones, but not keepers. Mosquitoes started to eat on us, so we cut through the back way back to Kern's. Not much clear water to be found that area. Wished we could have gotten out earlier to try north and the pits. It sure felt good to be back out on the water, though!!
