Mercury mechanic needed.asap
Between lafayette and Lake charles, where are the best mercury mechanic? That big black b**** on the back of my boat is giving me some issues. First off its leaking oil and I can't find it, and now the new problem is knocking sounds. I was running about 5k rpms and she started to lug down, when I throttled back she killed on me. She started back up after a few tries but had a new sound and some vibrations. When I was getting back on step it was very sluggish but still did it. Definitely don't have full power. I thought it could be a CDM. So I checked all plugs for fire and I'm good. What do yall think?

That or an injector, you said oil leak, you can't find. Both will give you the same trouble

Freddy Breaux in Henderson.

Optimax or Verado? Not that it matters, just curious.

That is not good. Get ready for some bad news.

2011 or older 300XS ?
The prop shop in Lafayette used to have a good Mercury guy a few years back Check If not Henderson Eq in Lake Charles has a good guy there |
My brother in law had bad experience with The Prop Shop. They did $5000 worth of work and he is still having problems.

Jason Guidry in Rayne does great work. Give him a call at 337-523-7872 and tell him what's going on.
