trim tab problem
 

Both of my trim tabs wont work, getting juice to the control box. So i think the control box is bad. Anybody got any input or had this issue before? I seriously doubt both actuators went out at the same time!

It's the control box. Same problem just happened to me. If it's a Lenco system just order the new control box. The new style box is much more rugged. My original box water full of moisture from a separation in the plastic.

Problem i have is there just a lil over a year old on a brand new boat. Is there a way to see if its the control box or the switch?

Check the fuze first. The. Unplug or cut the wires going into the control box, there are two pairs coming from the actuators. May yourself some test leads and connect each actuator wore pairs to a 12v battery and see if they move. If they don't move, it's one of three things: bad controller, switch, or you have a power supply issue

Actuators work, control box has good power supply, so im thinking its a bad box, or a short in the wiring from box to actuator, or bad duetche connecters

It could be a bad switch. That was my problem.
Before you change the box pull the plug from the back of the switch and jump the wires on the back of the plug to see if the trim taps move.

Or.... just take a small piece of wire and touch it to the 2 switch wires.

Or..... use some "insulated" needle nose pliers to do the same.
