Shrimp Net Repair
My trawl has a couple holes on the bottom from unmarked crap traps dragging in it. Anybody besides Touchard's in Delcambre do net repairs? I normally get them to patch it and dip it. But I have dip if anybody knows someone that does this on the side I'd greatly appreciate it!

If you pull a trawl you going to get a hole in it. You should learn how to patch them yourself, its much cheaper and not very difficult.

Yeah I know and it wouldn't be so bad but those unmarked crab traps wore me out this year. We had one trip where we caught at least 2 every time we picked up. Dragging them around doesn't help with the normal wear and tear. I been watching some videos here and there and I'm a have to try and practice some sewing and get some patience to patch it myself.
