Hoop nets
 

Anyone know the La. legal mesh size for recreational hoop net fishing? And can anyone recommend someone selling quality nets without breaking the bank? Thanks.

There's a big sign between Fenton & Kinder on Hwy. 165 west side of the road, I think his name is Chris, he's got them out in front of his place. I believe the 6 ft. Were 60 bucks, he also had some 8 ft. Not sure how much they were. There's also a net company in Jonesville, La which has an internet site The Fish Net Company, their phone no. Is on the site, & they can ship to you. There's a link on their website about hoop net regulations

Sometimes there is a guy set up on Hwy 171 a few miles north of the Light [near the power line] in Moss Bluff.

Looks like he has a couple different sizes.
