BL 5/22 Monday
 

After this one, I'll leave yall alone for a while because I will probably let the crowds have it next weekend. Lots of bait in the lake. Saw first shrimp boat this am. Once I got on them the bite was just silly. Done before 8:30. Muddy water. Didn't matter. Dark lil jons.

Way to knock them out,you almost got me tempted to go there but I'm not good enough to catch those BL trout!!!

Lucky is 1 time ... multiples times is skill !

Its like shooting a rifle ... anyone can make a 1 time WoW !!! shot. But a 5 shot group at given distance eliminates luck and someone just saying they can shoot.

Whats wrong bruh, you don't want to stick around for the invasion? Don't blame you. There is nowhere to get away from the hull slap. I hear it when I close my eyes at night like a Billy Ray Cyrus song stuck in my head. Bout to take the party offshore. I'd rather pound through 3 footers for 20 miles than try to find some fish in that madness.

Once the trucks and boat trailers are starting to park up and down the streets in Hebert's, that's a hint and a half for your azz. Maybe I'll BBQ, and wax my boat.

Don't think I can recall ever seeing so many popping corks on big lake in my 38 years as I saw last Saturday

Think I'm about to start my Saturday trips at noon because you can't catch fish till afternoon anyway with the number of boats running around , over you , throwing anchors , trolling up wind etc

But I'm like you , I'm about to start fishing outside the jetties in big pond
