What a day it turned out to be in Grand Isle 18 Jun
 

Left the house at 0500 and arrived at my favorite location just to watch a massive thunderstorm build and move right towards me. I had to make a run for it and just made it to Bridge Side Marina before the wind and rain hit us. I hung out for about 3 hours before it let up.

Around 1030 or so the wind changed directions and the beach slicked out... I headed back and found the trout was all over the beach but I arrived a little to late. I got there at the end of the bite, but not before landing 4 really nice trout. Crazy thing about the bite was that they would not touch anything I threw at them except for my favorite rig ( she dog with a 1/8 8oz jig head below it, plastic of choice was the Creole shrimp). The 4 trout I caught hit the she dog.

We got here right after the rain finished. The beach was slick after that weather. Went out this morning and got on some nice trout. Live shrimp under a cork and glo baits. Came back in for a while then headed back out this afternoon for the next bite.

I knew today would be a good day. Congrats
