Big lake 6/18 - 6/19
 

The lake was stacked with boats Saturday. Sure wish the water would clear up a bit. If nothing else, it might spread everybody out. Anyway, my day started slow. Nothing was going on where I caught fish last week. Took me about three hours and four or five spots but finally found some fish that bit right at a tide change. Limit by noon. Some good ones mixed in. Dark lil jons.

Sunday was an afternoon trip. Figured I could get right back on the fish from the day before........ Nope. Water had muddied quite a bit and that bite was non existent. Started trying some summer pattern spots and once the tide started pulling good, in was on. Limit by about seven. Best bait was chartreuse skull Draggerz.

Nice catch...i pretty much got skunked Saturday. I found a school of bull reds feeding Sunday. Landed 4, broke off two and one broken rod. Then my trolling motor died.... Still had a great time!
