Cajun Conch Team High EX-SPECK-TATIONS
2 Attachment(s)
Fished the Cajun conch this past weekend with perfect weather and a perfect crew. We fished hard from sunrise to sunset all the way from south of grand chenier to south of cypremort point ending up with 33 mangroves ,7 cobia, 1 dolphin. All we won In the tournament was biggest cobia and dolphin but we did weigh in more categories and had much more fish than anyone. Overall had a great weekend and a great time with every one at the tournament. (Except for the part where I was rushed out of the tournament in an ambulance)

Had a great time. We played hard and would have made someone collecting cans a very happy man. Not too many days like that in the gulf. Thanks for trip.

Did U have an allergic reaction to the Beer?? What happened???
|
Staph infection. We were worried it might be the flesh eating crap so they called an ambulance. Hands and arm were growing with lots of pain.
|
I have a staff infection.
|
Nice haul fellas.

Sorry to hear that ... Hope all is well Soon...
Brings up a Great Point...I read an article about the bacteria in the GoM. I always have Hydrogen Peroxide board FinChaser. But now I'm also carrying the Green Rubbing Alcohol...It's 70% alcohol, To put on nixs and cutts after washing hands. with antibacterial soap and HP... |
We don't do a good job of slowing down and taking care of cuts, etc. I bought some hydrogen peroxide the next day, but we need some on board. Last time I go out without something.
|
In addition to hydrogen peroxide, I keep a small spray bottle that is 50/50 bleach and water. Burns like hell but safe to spray on cuts and kills any bacteria. I spray it on every cut or nick or poke. Basically, if i see blood, i spray.
|
X2 on bleach it will literally kill anything little cap full on a cut burns like all hell but it kills all bacteria
