1999 Yamaha 40hp 3 cylinder Short Shaft with Big Tiller. It was a jet drive motor but I took jet pump off and put a regular lower unit off of a different motor. Lower unit looks a little rough but it works Perfectly. Powerhead is CLEAN and free of corrosion. I just paid Yamaha Mechanic to go Completely through Whole motor. New drive shaft and prop shaft seals, new Water pump and fresh gear oil. He also Went completely through the carbs, Checked Compression, put new CDI on it. It is ready to roll!! Cranks right up and Idles smooth. $3500 will throw in Stainless Steel prop also. It is on a boat now so it can be Test Run.
